300 songs submitted to Festival da Canção
The Portuguese broadcaster has received “more than 300 songs” for ‘Festival RTP da Canção 2009’, the national selection to the Eurovision Song Contest. According to what José Poiares (the Head of Delegation) told to oikotimes.com this morning “the number of songs is what we were expecting when we open the call to submit songs”. The deadline was last Monday.
There is now considered whether the submissions met the requirements, then bend a committee on the remaining numbers. On January 19, the broadcaster will announce the 24 selected entries and then the fans from all over the world will have the chance to select the 12 final songs through RTP website.

300 musicas é muito bom, o pior é o gosto do juri.
Pode haver grandes musicas que vão ficar pelo caminho por causa das más escolhas do juri.
As musicas dos amadores podem ser muito boas, mas os cantores profissionais ficam sempre em vantagem por serem conheçidos.
Isto é tudo uma grande treta, porque ja estou a imaginar o filme todo.
Mas é sempre bom saber que a RTP esta aberta a novas ideias.
